Genetic Susceptibility to Meningococcal Disease

In an international collaboration involving scientists from The Netherlands, genetic variants resulting in increased susceptibility to Meningococcal disease (MD) have been discovered.

Novel gene mutations found in myelodysplastic syndromes

In an advance online publication of Nature Genetics, a team of researchers led by dr. J.H. Jansen (Laboratory of Hematology, Department of Laboratory Medicine, Nijmegen) describes the frequent perturbation of the EZH2 gene in myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS).

Galenus Research Prize for Dr. Roos Masereeuw
