Monitoring progress (Forms B1 and B2)
Progress Form B1 contains a brief summary of the research conducted in the previous year, conclusions made and directions for the following year(s). Attendance of NCMLS PhD programme components are listed on the attendance report (Progress Form B2). Form B1 must be signed by the PhD candidate, supervisor(s) and the mentor. Form B2 must be signed by the PhD candidate and the supervisor(s). Both forms are to be completed yearly from the start date of your PhD project and sent to the NCMLS office (Margret Achour, internal postal code 259RT).
Conclusion of the PhD programme
At the end of the PhD project, Exit Form C has to be filled out and signed by the PhD candidate, supervisor(s) and the mentor. The PhD committee will evaluate the PhD training and supervision information (Forms A-C), and will consider whether all requirements for completion of the PhD programme have been fulfilled. If so, the PhD candidate will be eligible for the NCMLS certificate, which will be handed over together with the PhD diploma. The completed and signed Form C needs to be handed in to the NCMLS office (Margret Achour, internal postal code 259RT) at least two months prior to the PhD defence or at premature termination of the PhD project.
